Each Kendriya Vidyalaya is nominated as Principal, Assistant Public Information Officer. While there are no principal posts and deputy principals are working there, the Vice Principal is nominated as Assistant Public Information Officer. In the event of not having both principal and Vice-principal, senior teacher is nominated by the respective Regional Office as Assistant Public Information Officer.
